Our hot smoked mackerel is made from choice filets of Eastern Atlantic seaboard mackerel which, depending on the season, may be caught right here in Penobscot Bay. Mackerel has the most Omega 3 oils of any fish, making it just about the healthiest seafood you can eat. It is smoked, of course, in our unique Scottish kiln without additives or preservatives.
